  • What does a psychiatrist treat?
    Psychiatrists treat people in distress due to various mental health conditions, such as anxiety, depression, bipolar disorder, borderline personality disorder, psychosis, attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD), trauma, obsessive compulsive disorder (OCD), insomnia, suicidal thoughts or urges, and other mental health conditions.
  • How does a psychiatrist treat these disorders?
    First, a psychiatrist will conduct an evaluation to determine a diagnosis – a working assessment of what best explains ongoing symptoms – as each diagnosis will lead to creating a personalized and effective treatment plan with careful collaboration with your primary care doctor and other members of your treatment team. This treatment plan can include psychotherapy of various modalities and, if indicated, a course of medication.
  • Do I need to visit your office in person for psychiatric treatment?
    You can now receive psychiatric treatment – including psychotherapy and medication management - from Dr. Bojarski through virtual telehealth visits.
  • How are virtual visits different from in-person visits?
    Clinical studies that there are no differences in outcomes between in-person and virtual telehealth visits. Virtual visits allow for a number of advantages, including convenience and elimination of commute to a psychiatrist’s office.

    Dr. Bojarski is licensed to practice psychiatry in California, Georgia, Iowa, Massachusetts, Nebraska, New Hampshire, New York, and Florida.
